I received a B.Eng. degree in Electronics from the Sheffield Hallam University, UK in February 2014. Since graduation, I had been a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). I am also an External Resource Person to the University of Vocational Technology (UNIVOTEC), Rathmalana and the Lecturer in Charge of the W/E Microprocessor Based Systems (EE60303) module taken by the final year undergraduate students.

Wireless Communication is central to my research interests. More specifically, physical layer communication and long range data dissemination protocols of sensor networks truly interest me. My recent efforts had been to understand wireless communication systems by means of theoritical and a practical approach.

My curiosity has also lead me develop interests in several other fields over past few years. These include Crypto & Computer Security and Embedded GNU/Linux Systems such as Single Board Computers and IoT. I apply this knowledge to the industry through consultation and project design.

Most importantly, I enjoy sharing knowledge and applying skills to find solutions to real world problems.
